Factory Automation
A key market for Conductix-Wampfler is in the broad area of factory automation. We have several products used to keep parts and sub-assemblies moving from station to station. The most exciting are our IPT (Inductive Power Transfer) systems, whereby a powered rail is installed just below the floor surface. The AGV (Automatic Guided Vehicle) has a contactless pickup that pulls induced power from the rails. We also use conductor bar, festoon systems, reels, and any other products at our disposal to keep factory lines humming.
Our handling systems supply compressed air and electricity to assembly lines. We also supply tool transporters and various workstation equipment such as jib booms, equipment cranes, and conveyor systems all designed to keep raw materials and work-in-process goods moving throughout the plant.
