Cable Reels, Spring-Driven
Conductix-Wampfler is a major manufacturer of Spring-Driven Cable Reels designed for the demands of the industrial market. We've been designing and building reels since 1945, under the names Industrial Electric Reels and Insul-8 Corporation, and now as Conductix-Wampfler. Our brands include Industrial Electric Reels (IER), Spring-O-Matic, PowerReel®, and now Wampfler. We offer hundreds of standard configurations and design and build more custom designs than anyone.
The 6100 Series of galvanized, spring-driven cable reels are built at the Conductix-Wampfler facility in Germany. These are top quality with long-life ball bearings and spring motors that have been tested to 50,000 cycles. They are ideal for very demanding and/or critical applications where daily cycles are high and the ramifications of downtime are severe.
1200 Series PowerReel®
The Conductix-Wampfler 1200 Series Cable Reel - best-built compact cable reel on the market today. 12" diameter spool; steel and polymer construction. 3 or 4 conductor 16 to 12 awg SJO or SOW cable - up to 50 feet depending on cable and application. UL and CSA listed for NEMA 4 applications.
1400 Series PowerReel®
The Conductix-Wampfler 1400 Series PowerReel® Cable Reel features a 14" diameter spool and all-steel construction. Handles 3 to 12 conductors of 16 to 10 awg SOW-A or SOOW-A cable - up to 80 feet depending on cable and application. C-UL listed for NEMA 4X applications.
1500 Series Hazardous Duty
The 1500 Series hazardous duty cable reel is designed for NEC Class I Div 1 Groups C & D, zones 0,1,2; Class II Div 2 groups E, F, & G, and Class III hazardous areas. Sealed to NEMA 4 - indoor or outdoor use. Handles 3 to 12 conductors of 16 to 10 awg SOW-A or SOOW-A cable - up to 80 feet.
1900-2400 Series PowerReel®
1900 to 2400 Series PowerReel® Cable Reels handle larger and longer cables than the 1400 series. Heavy-duty performance at an attractive price! Sealed to NEMA 4 for indoor or outdoor use. 1900 Series: 19" diameter spool 2400 Series: 24" diameter spool

3200-3600 Series PowerReel®
The 3200 to 3600 Series reels are the largest in the Conductix PoweReel® Line. The reels are built to perform in demanding applications such as factories, mills, and material handling. The "GafferReel" version in a standard black are ideal for theater lighting systems. 3200-3600 reels feature quick-change containerized springs, external torque adjustment, and fully adjustable cable guide.
Welding Cable Reels
PowerReel® Welding Cable Reels keep excess welding cable stored and accessible in a neat, safe, and efficient manner. They include single conductor 450 amp slip ring for electric welding and grounding. Built to NEMA 4X standards for indoor and outdoor use. Can accommodate from 25 to 100 feet of 6 awg to 2/0 welding cable. Ratchet included.
Grounding/Static Discharge
Conductix-Wampfler Grounding Reels are ideal for static electricity discharge in hazardous areas such as aviation hangers and refueling stations, petroleum tanks, and similar applications. Available with 25, 50, 75, and 100 foot lengths. Grounding clamp included. Meets NEC standards.
Cord Reels, Economy
Conductix-Wampfler's extensive range of cord and cable reels starts with our "economy" series of cord reels. These include the Economy Spring-Rewind Cord Reel: 30 feet of SJT cable; 10 amps 125 VAC. For light duty ceiling and wall-mounted applications and the Economy Hand-Rewind Cord Reel: 25 feet of SJT cable; 10 amps 115 volts. Polymer housing. Four outlets 115 volts 60 Hz.
Hand-Rewind Reels
Series 20, 30, and 40 Hand Rewind Reels are available in "hand-carry", rolling cart, and wall-mounted versions to store 2,3, and 4 conductor cables from 16 awg to 10 awg. Reel capacity varies with cable size and reel style.
The base-mounted Series 60 Hand Wind Reel includes wide drum and 4:1 geared crank drive to handle up to 2 awg cable.

These include most hoisting and other material handling devices; e.g. portal cranes, grabs, magnets, lift and working platforms, machinery, excavators, mobile cranes, transfer cars, transport systems and skimmers in purifying plants.
