A62 / A180 Series
The Bestapower rail as core unit in the system serves simultaneously as a compressed air line, as a running rail for carriages and stations as well as a profile for the energy carrier system and peripheral equipment such as lighting.
Rails are available as straight and as bent elements. Rail segments are up to 6 metres long. Couplings, end pieces and fastening elements complete the rail system.

The tapping carriage serves as a moving compressed air connection which in a dynamic work area can be moved along with the consumer. This eliminates the springback forces that occur with spiral hoses on conventional installations, reduces the number of couplings and helps to keep hoses as short as possible.
By a pull on the hose the tapping carriage is undocked from the tapping valve and moves to the next tapping point. The docking process takes place automatically. Tapping carriages can be deployed for dry or lubricated compressed air. All components are silicone-free. The undocking process can be automated with mechanical or pneumatic undocking aids. Depending on the required application, tapping carriages can be deployed with or without maintenance units.
If several tools are used at the same working location, tool carriages can be coupled with a tapping carriage as additional compressed air connections. Tool carriages and tapping carriages can be designed for different working pressures and individual air preparation. For a restricted working area tool carriages can be supplied with compressed air directly from a fixed connection.
Tools and other equipment can be suspended on the equipment carriages, which can also be coupled with tapping carriages.
Cable carriages serve mainly as festoon carriages for flat or round cables.
Work stations facilitate the provision of tools, small parts, testing devices etc. directly at the workplace. Their modular structure ensures individual solutions to meet specific
requirements in respect of ergonomics, productivity and operating convenience.
Work stations can be deployed with or without energy supply. Compressed air is supplied according to choice by means of a tapping carriage, an energy carrier system or a festoon system.
Like work stations, tool holders permit the convenient arrangement of tools and small parts directly at the workplace. Their modular construction ensures individual
solutions to meet specific requirements in respect of ergonomics, productivity and operating convenience.
Tool holders can be deployed with or without energy supply. Compressed air is supplied according to choice by means of a tapping carriage, an energy carrier system or a festoon system
Using the energy carrier system a defined working area of 3 to 18 metres can be continuously supplied with energy (compressed air and/or electricity). The energy is supplied by means of the air hose inserted in the energy chain and/or a power cable.
Data lines can also be integrated. The energy is supplied through fixed tapping stations.
For energy carrier systems rails without tapping valves or connection plates are normally used.
Energy carrier systems can be combined with tapping valve technology and can also be retrofitted to existing Bestapower facilities.
They can be coupled with work stations, tool holders and tool carriages
The conductor rail can be routed parallel to a Bestapower compressed air rail. It is fastened either on a suspension frame provided by the customer or directly on the Bestapower rail.
The current collector is coupled with a tapping carriage or a work station and can be moved as a single unit. This means that both forms of energy forms, compressed air and electricity, can be supplied at the same time to the consumer.
Festoon systems can be designed for power cables, data lines and compressed air hoses. They permit a continuous energy supply in a defined working area.
Typical applications with power cable or data line are workplaces with electronically controlled torque wrenches, for example Atlas Copco Tensor Systems, CVI Systems
from Georges Renault or Stanley Systems.
Festoon systems can be very easily integrated into existing or new Bestapower facilities and therefore obviate the need for an additional parallel installation (for example C rail system).
