Motorized Cable Reels
Conductix-Wampfler has been designing and building motorized (motor-driven) cable and hose reels since 1945. Our legacy is with Industrial Electric Reels (IER), as well as with the Delachaux and Wampfler brands. We have all the latest reel drive technologies available, from simple direct drive units that are switch controlled, to the rugged magnetic coupler clutch reels, all the way to the latest in frequency controlled drive packages. We offer spool types to include bulk wrap, monospiral, and levelwind configurations. We employ the best quality cables available for reeling applications - for ports container cranes, bulk handling machines, aviation cable handling, primary metal mills, and a wide array of other demanding applications.

Mag Drive
Mag Drive Motorized Reels uses efficient and reliable permanent magnets and standard electric motors to provide constant torque to the cable/hose. This reel system is ideal for especially tough applications. Each reel system is custom-configured to meet the application and chosen using a sophisticated selection program.

Level Wind
A Level Wind Motor Driven Reel wraps the cable onto a cylindrical cable drum in one or more uniform layers. The wrapping pattern is controlled by a special cable guide that moves parallel with the spool to assure consistent wrapping. Various motorized reel drive system can be used depending on the application.
Direct Drive
Conductix-Wampfler builds a wide variety of Direct Drive Motorized Reels with various spool styles. These motorized reels operate with a push button pendant, radio control, or hard-wired wall switch. Direct Drive Motorized Reels are ideal for ceiling mounted, wall mounted, or equipment mounted applications.
