Stop the spool precisely; each reel is supplied with a motor brake

Prevent damage to the cable, cable accessory, or reel ; each reel is equipped with adjustable limit switches to define up and down travel limits.

Accommodate a wide range of cables. The standard range is from 4 to 36 conductors in 16 awg or 14 awg sizes, up to 100 feet long
Each reel comes with precision machine slip rings in a NEMA 4 enclosure. Each slip ring is rated up to 35 amps/600 volts. 5159 reels are available without cable, or with power cables or 400 Hz aircraft cables pre-installed.
