Conductix-Wampfler GmbH, an affiliate of the Conductix-Wampfler Group, the world leader in the design and manufacture of efficient energy and data transmission systems for all types of mobile equipment and machinery, has developed a new small-scale conductor rail for shuttle-systems and compact applications.

Since many years, conductor rails are the standard means to transmit power to shuttle-systems. As a further development of the tried and tested single-pole, small-scale SingleFlexLine conductor rail, the new 2-pole MultiLine 0835 conductor rail offers even more advantages, notably concerning installation and handling. The compact 2-pole design can be very easily integrated into the travel profiles of intralogistics shuttle-systems. Expanding rivets or customer-specific clip-on brackets can be used to mount the rails inside the travel profile. Rails are connected by using plug-in claw type fasteners, which are slid inside the rails. Rail connectors and connector caps are designed to ensure proper alignment and a quick and safe connection of the components when connecting the rails. Available with and without PE (protective earth) rails, the system can be used for installations with extra-low voltage or low voltage up to 500 V. Sequencing rails or integrating rails into both the left and right travel profile allows for installations with 4, 6, or 8 poles.

Advantages at a glance:

  • Few parts, meaning quick and safe installation
  • Predefined connections by using plug-in claw type fasteners
  • Compact design
  • System length and number of poles are easily expandable
  • High rigidity through 2-pole structure and hollow-chamber profiles
  • Available as 2 x phase and phase + PE (protective earth) versions

Other than the intended use in shuttle-systems, MultiLine 0835 conductor rails can be used in similar indoor applications as well.
