E-RTG Conversion Project Montreal

In 2016, Montréal Gateway Terminals (MGT) successfully tested two converted Liebherr “E-RTGs” powered by Conductix-Wampfler’s “Drive-in L” conductor rail system.  As a result they recently ordered 10 new Liebherr E-RTGs, also to be powered with the Drive-in L.

CAP - Cable Auto Plug-In for E-RTGs

Conductix-Wampfler has officially launched CAP (Cable Auto Plug-In). CAP is a new innovative solution within our full-range of port electrification products. CAP automates the process of unplugging and plugging E-RTGs (Electrified Rubber-Tired Gantry Cranes) powered by motor driven cable reels.
